Dennis McNett is having a show at the Joshua Linear Gallery on Thursday, December 16 from 6-9 pm. Vans will be having a silent auction of one of a kind limited gear benefiting the Andy Kessler Foundation. If the show is anything like McNett’s Philadelphia show it is sure to blow minds.
Here is a preview of some of the work that will be on exhibit.
This July, the Maysles Cinema presents the sixth monthly installment of its sports-themed series, “Jock Docs.” Rolling through the local history of skateboarding, this month’s series focuses on two recently deceased legends of their eras: Andy Kessler and Harold Hunter. Presented in association with the Andy Kessler and Harold Hunter Foundations, this series aims to commemorate their talents and lasting impact through skate videos, documentaries, discussions and celebration.

The time has come again for the LOVE& GUTS art show to make its triumphant return to New York in what promises to be one of the most memorable shows to date. Skateboarding’s past and present heroes will converge for an exhibition entitled Eyes Wide Open, which is centered around skating’s fallen soldiers whose lives expired far too soon.
These loses have left a void in skating, but their spirits and legacies continue to live on and as special way to celebrate their lives. LOVE&GUTS has chosen to further immortalize them via Eyes Wide Open. Participants in this year’s show include Pat Ngoho, Lance Mountain, Steve Caballero, Steve OIson, Chad Muska, Armando Roura, Don Pendeleton, Giovanni Reda, Ivory Serra & Shelter Serra, Dennis McNett along with many others who were all more than willing to lend their talents to this special exhibition.
